Coaching Experience:

This will be Hillary’s first official year as a coach. She has helped out Team Colorado Volleyball over the last two seasons as a skills coach focusing primarily on setting.

Playing Experience

Hillary started playing volleyball at the age of 8. From ages 11-18, Hillary played for Southwest Illinois Volleyball team. She was also a 4 year Varsity Letter winner at Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville, IL and a 3 year starter. After high school, Hillary chose to continue her volleyball career playing Division I at the United States Air Force Academy where she was the 4 year starting setter and 3-time MVP. This past May, Hillary competed on the All Air Force Women’s Team. The team competed in and won the All Armed Forces Tournament and Hillary was named to the All Tournament Team.

Coaching Philosophy

Hillary is really looking to give back during her time as a coach. The sport of volleyball has shaped who she is as a person and given her so many amazing opportunities in life. It has made her the strong, confident woman she is today, and she hopes to inspire young women through discipline, hard work, and most importantly having fun.

Personal Background

Hillary has a Bachelor’s of Science in Management from the United States Air Force Academy. She graduated from USAFA in 2015. She is currently a 1st Lieutenant and works as a satellite vehicle operator at Schriever Air Force Base. She is currently working on her MBA through Auburn University’s online program. In her free time, Hillary likes to bake, read, watch movies, and work out. She is excited about the opportunity to coach for Team Colorado.
